Salary: To £36,000 (OTE c£50,000)

Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a well esbalished, award winning maketing agency in the recruitment of a Business Growth Manager.

You will be responsible for developing, leading and implementing the business growth strategy to enable the company to grow, thrive and maintain a healthy financial position within the marketplace.
This will be achieved by working in collaboration with the Director to ensure that business growth activities are aligned to corporate objectives and developing strategic proposals that will make the company successful and increase revenue.
You will also be expected to understand and execute expansion tactics and meet financial targets; they will also have a key role in marketing the company and supporting the strategic positioning of the company.
You will also line manage a team of two business development specialists.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
• Identifying new strategic business opportunities, agree appropriate response with Director and take appropriate action
• Creating opportunities to meet with existing and prospective clients/commissioners
• Building on relationships with existing clients commissioning work from the company with a view to securing further business
• Developing and supporting the implementation of business development/growth activities through the development of an internal team dedicated to business development, marketing and business growth activities
• Securing new business
• Maintaining extensive knowledge of current and future potential market characteristics and conditions
• Where appropriate, prepare written responses to tenders, contribute to the completion of application processes, prepare pitch presentations and deliver pitch presentations
• Preparing regular management reports detailing new business, repeat business and opportunities to promote services in new markets
• Actively contributing to company marketing initiatives, identifying new opportunities, ensuring marketing is delivered and on track and highlighting where areas for development are greatest
Applicants must have a strong business development background, ideally gained within an agency or creative marketing organisation. You must be commercially aware, and have experience winning large national contracts. You will be a confident communicator and be able to pitch to potential clients. You must also have experince in bid management.

The role is predominantly based from the clients Sheffield offices, however national travel will be required as and when necessary (a pool car will be provided).
