Salary: To £30,000 + commission (OTE c£50k)

Sue Ross Recruitment are handling an exciting opportunity on behalf of their client, an expanding corporate events company. They require a high performing Sales Manager to increase sales and revenue. You will be responsible for maximising the sales team potential and creating sales plans. Working closely with the Directors, you will put systems in place and ensure they are adhered to.

Duties include:

• Achieving growth and sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Designing and implementing a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong business
• Recruiting, coaching and performance monitoring of the sales team
• Building and promoting strong, long lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Presenting sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Identifying emerging markets

Applicant requirements:
• Successful experience as a sales manager – proven ability to consistently meet and exceed targets
• Ideally have relevant events industry experience
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Full UK driving licence
