The Role: Retail Distribution is expected to be the strongest growing distribution channel in the UK market over the next decade with a specific focus on the new digital interventions. The distribution team would like to strengthen the capability of data analytics and reporting to track business performance and process efficiency. To do so, we'll need to Improve the quality of data reporting and analytics within the team Start automating BAU reports to bring operational efficiencies Key Responsibilities: Deliver timely and accurate reporting for regular MI and Adhoc analysis Build innovative data based solutions and interact with internal stakeholders to assess their needs and develop the best configurable solution for a business need Consult with stakeholders to scope detailed requirements, advise on business rules and testing strategies Ability to automate reports to bring efficiency in reporting Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets relating to the sales and distribution Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations for SMT Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool. To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in Prudential UK's operational risk You will have: Knowledge statements: Detailed knowledge of industry best practice in terms of advanced analytics and data reporting In-Depth understanding of retail distribution dynamics within insurance and retirement industry Detailed knowledge of marketing technology industry developments and trends Detailed knowledge of life and pensions products, markets and competitors Detailed knowledge of the Prudential brand, our products, services and distribution mechanisms Understanding of the Statements of Principle & Code of Practice Understanding of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks Experience statements: Experience in delivering projects with cross-functional teams and the ability to work with Data Scientists and Engineers Experience in creating visualisation based dashboard using principles of data engineering and reporting Experience in automating reports using SQL and advanced excel People who work at M&GPrudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit.
