The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technology Delivery Lead to join our Transformation and Innovation Team within Customer Savings and Investments in Stirling or Reading. The Customer Savings & Investments business (CS&I) have entered into a new partnership with a third party provider that will radically transform the provision of IT services to the business and customers with the vast majority of resources being owned and managed by the third party. There is a massive digital enablement ambition as part of the CS&I transformation putting self-service capabilities in the hands of customers, advisors and trustees while providing the latest toolset to the operations when they deal with customers. We require a Technology Delivery Lead to ensure that our digital ambitions are developed and delivered by the third party effectively and expediently. The role holder will be accountable for managing the digital roadmap, working in partnership with customer office and customer journey managers in CS&I and the wider business assuring delivery of the third party activities with appropriate testing. Key Responsibilities: Leading the CS&I digital roadmap delivery. Managing the product backlog effectively with customer office and journey managers, delivering the right business outcome as outlined in the roadmap through the third party. Ensure that the provider sets up and maintains rigorous testing and release management capabilities that delivers on the 90 day sprints as well as to enable agile iterations of delivery. Ensure the customer, advisor, employers and trustees available digital capabilities are kept at least at the current level while delivery of the digital roadmap which will ultimately transform these capabilities. Provide significant input into business case development for new initiatives within CS&I which has a digital dimension. Develop the right MI showing how the digital deliveries are actually making impacts in customer/advisor journeys. You will have: Well rounded and expert technology delivery experience with good understanding of various aspects of delivery like infrastructure, software engineering, technology, integration, testing, release & deployment to applying "solutioning mindset" and taking decisions through these variables. Good understanding of life and pension business, Financial Services Regulatory and legislatory framework to act as bridge between what the business want and technology delivery through third party. A strong level of commercial acumen and insight as well as an analytical mind-set A strong and developing understanding of agile management techniques and DevOps methodology Good networks/links with external bodies and individuals in the same field Experience of managing complex and large scale digital enablement programme Experience of managing third party technology delivery partners in onshore and offshore model Track record of delivery in a senior role Experience of leadership of large and diverse teams Evidence of effective stakeholder management to senior Exec levels Evidence of effective supplier management experience Strong influencing skills - to effectively drive the provider People who work at M&GPrudential agree that ours is a great place to work with a brilliant team spirit.
