Our client is an established supplier of quality apparel to the UK high street. An exciting opportunity has arisen within their team for an experienced Imports/Logistics professional to work in this fast paced, dynamic environment.


The ideal candidate will have knowledge of liaising with airlines and shipping lines, coupled with an understanding of imports procedures and clearance requirements . Good customer communication and the ability to work under pressure are also essential for this role.

The role:
1.Monitoring arrivals, Communication with customers warehouses .
2.To coordinate with the merchandise teams, factories and the external logistics support companies to fulfill on time deliveries
3.To review all necessary import shipping documentation
4.Liaise with freight forwarding agents and internal teams
5.Ensure that all databases and paperwork are accurately processed and maintained
6.Processing pre-alerts booking in deliveries


Previous experience of import freight shipping and knowledge of Customs procedures is essential. Strong administration, attention to detail and a confident communication style are also prerequisites for the position.
