Our client, Fife Fruits Ltd, is recruiting for a part-time bookkeeper/ office administrator for their busy soft fruit farm office. You will be responsible for the financial administration tasks of the company and providing general office administration support. Main responsibilities include: Preparing and processing payroll for 125 employees (seasonal fluctuations apply) Complete monthly VAT reporting, compliant with Making Tax Digital requirements Establishing and operating accounts package for sales/purchases etc Preparation of annual accounts Producing management reports as and when needed Operating employee pension scheme General office administration duties Our ideal candidate will: Have experience of working within a similar role Have knowledge and experience of computerised payroll and accounts software Possess strong Excel and IT skills Be reliable and hard working and be able to work on their own initiative to manage workload Have excellent organisation skills with great attention to detail Be flexible and able to adapt to a seasonal workload This is a part-time position, working 2 -3 days per week, however there can be a degree of flexibility from our client.
