Background Condies an innovative Fife and Edinburgh-based accountancy firm with its headquarters in Dunfermline is seeking a payroll administrator to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our payroll team and work in a friendly and supportive environment. Main Responsibilities: To process Payrolls weekly and monthly for clients in accordance with RTI compliance. Ensure everything is processed in a timely and accurate manner, with guidance and support from Supervisor Develop an excellent cross section of knowledge across the key areas of payroll including fundamental knowledge of Tax/NI/SSP/SMP/ and all other adjustments Dealing with all payroll queries Advise clients on Auto Enrolment legislation and all related compliance matters To develop knowledge of STAR payroll system and display competency in this area Act responsibly and proactively acknowledge deadlines Skills and Competencies: Applicants will ideally have experience of working in a similar role in an accountancy practice Strong IT skills Use initiative to make suggestions to improve delivery and overall client service Ideally some knowledge of STAR payroll software Good communication skills Qualities: Ability to work as part of a team and liaise directly with clients to build relationships Team player who can build and maintain productive relationships Ability to adapt to change both regulative and internally within the business Handles multiple priorities well Excellent client service skills Passion and desire to make a real difference, demonstrating enthusiasm to completing work to a high standard
