Project Administrator / PMO Analyst – Abingdon, £25 – 28k per annum + benefits

Working for a leading software consultancy business based at a great head office in Abingdon where you will play a vital role within the project team as a PMO Analyst (Project Management Office)

As a PMO analyst you will liaise with project managers, developers, consultants and customers to make sure everyone is organised, and resources used correctly. You will work with the operations team, to make sure the planning / forecasting of programmes and projects is aligned to capacity and demand. You will also be using Excel lots, so need to be strong with Excel to keep financial and project reporting up to date.

The PMO team maintain project standards and quality, to make sure the delivery is of a good standard, using the RAG status and report tracker as key tools. You will be a valued member driving governance and providing support to project launches through to the transition into customer services. There are monthly project reviews and you will assist in preparation, reporting and forecasting of projects.

They are a software company, providing technology solutions, so whilst not critical, any prior planning experience within software projects would be advantageous, but ultimately if you are an organized, detail oriented, enjoy using excel and has any project experience as a project coordinator, PMO or Project Administrator, with ability to manage budgets or risks. You will be using Microsoft Project daily, so again – any previous exposure would be helpful but not critical. You might have an interest in Prince 2, but again this is not necessary.
