The Company: Business Modeller and Analyst •Work with the top10 pharmaceutical companies globally •A small but rapidly growing company with a family feel •Fantastic career opportunity The Role: Business Modeller and Analyst •You will combine cutting edge forecasting technology developed by our client with MS Excel •You will be producing bespoke forecast models, rapidly assimilate an understanding of the technicalities of forecasting and pricing and methodologies and technologies •Produce models which predict and model many business aspects of the pharmaceutical industry (including sales forecasts, pricing strategy, international pricing systems, the effect of parallel trade and risk analysis) •Investigate and document disease areas and forecasting methodologies •Once experienced and have a thorough knowledge of the industry you will be increasingly involved with customers: Training customers on the best way to forecast and price pharmaceuticals •Delivering the models you have built and training the customers to use them •Taking a brief and documenting specifications for bespoke forecast models and putting together proposals •Liaising during development and delivery of forecast models •5- 10% client visit and travel The Ideal Person: Business Modeller and Analyst •Great opportunity for a newly or recently out of university who is keen to gain lots of business experience and acquire skills and expertise that are highly valued by the pharmaceutical industry •Able to communicate clearly on the phone and in person - Many of the customers speak English as a second language and the onus is on our client to facilitate understanding •As the new Business Modeller and Analyst you will come with a life-science; biological science; science; economics or similar; graduate with a 2:1 or first from a top-twenty university •You will need to be Computer literate with a knowledge of Excel and some spreadsheet modelling •Able to demonstrate a good intuitive grasp of mathematics and basic statistics. (An A grade in maths at GCSE is an absolute minimum) •Excellent at communicating in writing. Once trained, you will communicate with customers, document your models and new forecasting methodologies, write proposals, and put together questionnaires •Able to demonstrate a history of getting the job done and completed to a high standard. •Supremely well organised: able to plan, prioritise and think ahead •Able to concentrate for extended periods of time •Have an eye to detail, but also see the bigger picture •Enjoy working on solo projects, yet also enjoy working as part of a small, highly-intellectual team •Well-presented with some presentation and public speaking experience Consultant: Isabella Mills E-Mail: IsabellaM@otrsales.co.uk Tel: 0208 397 4114 Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK.
