In line with the Transforming Care Programme, the service provides rehabilitation pathways alongside admissions who require a short stay or are experiencing a period of acute relapse and need an appropriate environment and specialist input. As part of a full multi-disciplinary team on-site, you will work with all staff across the hospitals to support the implementation of the therapeutic approach demonstrating a range of skills, knowledge and abilities.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for embedding the SLT service under managerial and clinical guidance and raising communication awareness within Hansa Ward. Dysphagia experience and the ability to independently manage complex cases is also a requirement of the role.
This role also has the potential to progress to a full time position across Cygnet Beckton Hansa Ward and another one of our services in the London area.

  • Regular meetings and networking with Cygnet Speech and Language Therapists
  • Developmental Opportunities
  • Subsidised meals and free parking
  • Company pension scheme and a comprehensive employee assistance programme and discount centre.
