We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vessel Design Engineer to join our Company working from the Swadlincote office. Some UK travel may be required.

The Role:
Your main responsibility will be to design storage and pressure vessels ensuring we comply to PED PD5500 & ASME codes of practice, while also satisfying the clients specifications and our project requirements.
Working as a part of our Process Services Design Department you will:
* Have a proven track record in pressure vessel design
* Have a demonstrable skill working with PD550 and using PV Elite
* Have experience in carrying out technical discussions with Clients and Subcontractors.
* Be experienced in working to ISO 9001:2008/2015
* Be competent with the Autodesk suite
* Have experience in preparation of Material Take Off/Purchase Requisition for Vessel materials, review Client’s Technical Specification, production of Manufacture Fabrication drawing, workshop coordination on technical issues.
A flexible approach to work is required due to the site demands (some weekend work may be required).
Skills / Experience Required:
We are seeking an individual with a true passion for design. The right candidate will have a strong proven track record of designing pressure storage vessels.
You will have a strong background in working with pressure vessel systems, being competent in PV Elite and PD5500.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
