Sugarman Group are now recruiting for an attractive opportunity as a Senior Diagnostic Radiography within a multi-modality imaging department within an established Private hospital in North London.

Our client is interested in meeting with experienced Diagnostic Radiographers from a General Diagnostic radiography background with sound knowledge of Radiography rules and regulations as well as skill in MRI / CT to join and act as a Senior member of their imaging team.

This is a full-time 37.5 hour per week contract, with a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of the role:

  • Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
  • Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
  • Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise.
  • Actively working and managing own caseload in MRI / CT cases. Role will be 50% MRI and 50% CT based.
  • Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
  • Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
  • Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.

    Job Requirements:
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Current valid Radiography registration with HCPC
  • Degree or diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Great knowledge on Radiography rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of radiation regulations
  • Experience in both MRI and CT
  • Confidence in role and ability to act as a point of support to junior and untrained staff.
