Our award winning client are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join the finance team on a fixed term basis. The accounts assistant will also be responsible for the day to day treasury functions as well as supporting the finance team as an accounts assistant.

Duties will include:

Settlement of the Company’s bank accounts from the general ledger to the bank statement
Recording incoming payments
Liaising with teams across the business on bank transactions
Monitoring and manage all bank activity
Reporting the company forecasting to assist with funding decisions
Balance Sheet reconciliations
General support to the accounts team

Person Specification:

Previous experience working in an accounting environment is a must
Treasury experience is also desirable
Must have strong telephone and interpersonal skills
To be able to communicate effectively at all levels
Must have great attention to detail and produce accurate work
To be customer focused

This is initially a 3 month fixed term contract, Monday – Friday starting ASAP.
