Telesales Representative (Part Time)

We are recruiting for a Part Time Telesales Representative in the Wolverhampton area.

Our Client is looking for a bright, enthusiastic and customer focused telesales representative to contribute to generating sales for company. You will be responsible for closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships

Please note* this is a sales role and success will be measured against monitored sales targets. You will be an excellent communicator and have first class people skills. You will be comfortable presenting products, services, surveys and advertising space over the phone as well as dealing with complaints.

The role is subject to a probationary period of six months during which time the client will carry out progress reviews and provide on the job training and support. This is a sales role and as such, clear sales targets will need to be maintained.

With Training my client would expect you to be a key part of the team and to get to know all our products in detail

Responsibilities of a Telesales Representative

·Identifying and maintaining a pipeline of prospects

·Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service, sometimes using scripts

·Answering questions about products or the company

·Asking questions to understand customer requirements and to close sales

·Refer prospects to our membership team or commercial partners when needed

·Enter and update customer information on our CRM System

·Take and process orders in an accurate manner

·Make every effort to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales

·Handle any grievances

·Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Daily Duties

·Contact existing and potential members to describe advertising and sponsorship opportunities. This may include cold calling.

·Contact existing members to arrange the placement and design of advertising they have agreed and to maintain existing relationships

·Conduct phone-based customer satisfaction surveys and Quarterly Economic Surveys (QES) as required

·Research member needs and explain the benefits of buying advertising space

·Explain pricing costs to potential members and negotiate fees if necessary

·Take an account management approach to all existing members to ensure their needs are satisfied and they are happy with the service

·Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Team and Membership Team to ensure work is communicated and customers are happy

·Track sales and customer interactions on in-house CRM system

·Deliver sales reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications

·Complete and monitor all paperwork/ processes relating to a sale

Details of a Telesales Representative

·Salary: £12,000

·Part time

·Working hours: 3 days (21 Hours per week) Some flexibility on how the hours are completed

·Location: Wolverhampton


Skill and Experience needed

·Knowledge and understanding of how a membership organisation operates

·Good level of ICT skills within an office environment, especially MS Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM Systems.

·Time Management, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly

·Excellent communication skills

·Brilliant telephone manner

·Strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with external and internal stakeholders at all levels

·Experience of telephone sales

·Experience of face to face sales

·Achieving sales targets and working to tight deadlines

·Experience of conducting telephone-based surveys

·Experience of delivering first class customer service

·Experience of working within a marketing or publishing team
