Successful and Lexcel accredited firm seeks a proactive Locum Conveyancing Legal Secretary.

Our client located in Colchester is actively looking to recruit a legal secretary to join its thriving conveyancing department on a locum basis. The successful candidate will be providing a range of administrative support to conveyancing fee earners.

The role will be offered on a full-time locum basis, week commencing 13th May 2019 until the 20th May 2019.


- Diary management
- Audio and copy typing
- Use of the Land Registry portal
- Completing Land Registry applications
- Use of case management systems
- Preparing and producing correspondence
- General administrative work

The Candidate

- Applications are encouraged from legal secretaries with a minimum of one years’ experience
- Conveyancing experience is essential for the role
- Excellent drafting skills coupled with attention to detail
- Have a flexible approach
- Able to use initiative
