Support Worker - Homelessness
Job DescriptionOur client, one of the UK's leading housing provider and one of the largest providers of housing related support to single homeless people within and around the Norfolk area is seeking a Project Worker to work in a placement in their Supported Living Services until 25 March 2019. The Project Worker will be responsible for delivering person-centred services. The scheme is accommodation based environment that supports single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs. The primary focus of the scheme is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs. Candidates must have worked in homelessness and have experience of Mental Health. Hours of work: 39hrs per week - 8.30am to 5pm 4 days a week, 10am to 6.30pm one day a week, working one weekend in four across two schemes 9am to 5pm If you are interested in this role please send your CV to Della.
