Administration Assistant

An exciting and rewarding position is now available at this company based in Spalding.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a full time Administration Assistant to further enhance growth and customer relationships.

The two companies design, manufacture and distribute electronic reading aids and software that enable visually impaired, blind and dyslexic people to read.

The products are truly life changing and help to restore independence, enable employment and education and are sold all over the world.

This role will include:
General
- Being one of the first points of contact with customers
- Answering and transferring phone calls
- Filing
- Once product knowledge has been acquired, possibility to assist in sales / customer service calls
- General housekeeping duties
Accounts

Assisting the Office Manager:
- Raising sales invoices and quotations
- Raising purchase orders
- Raising credit notes
- Credit control
- Processing card payments
- Maintaining stock levels

Marketing / Sales
Assisting the Marketing Manager and Sales Managers:
- Booking and organising daily appointments
- Booking exhibitions including flights and hotels
- Writing covering letters and sending out brochures to potential customers
- Printing brochures ready for trade shows (and to send to potential customers)
- Contacting resource centres to ensure they have up-to-date product brochures
- Help to manage loan items (once product knowledge acquired)

Experience required
- A very high level of written and spoken English
- A minimum of 1 year's administration experience
- Experience of Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A caring and friendly attitude
- An excellent telephone manner
- Confidence in communicating with a variety of people
- Knowledge of Accounts and SAP would be an advantage

The role is full time working Monday to Friday and the salary range is dependent on experience.
