2nd Line IT Engineer

Salary - £20,000 - £25,000

Concept Resourcing are working with a global IT Solutions Provider based in Birmingham, who are looking to add a 2nd Line Helpdesk Support to their expanding support. The role will involve over the phone and remote support.

This is a great opportunity for candidates to work for a growing MSP who will expose you to new technologies and put you forward for certifications. There will also be plenty of options to progress your role either.

Key responsibilities:

* Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLA) are adhered to and follow helpdesk procedures/policies while taking full ownership

* Take Calls and deal with problems over the phone or remotely from raised tickets

* Remain up to date with latest technologies and platforms.

* In addition to undertaking the duties as outlines above, you may be required to undertake other duties, within reason, that may be required of you

Experience with some of the below is necessary but you will gain exposure to new technologies in the role.

* Windows desktop installation / troubleshooting skills

* Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365 Support

* Microsoft Server & SBS

* Knowledge of ADSL / Routers & Network Switches (Support & Admin)

* Microsoft Exchange Server

* Network troubleshooting (TCP/IP) & Internet Issues

* Antivirus knowledge (AVG, SOPHOS)

* Knowledge of backup software

* Kaseya, VMware, Hyper-V

Salary on offer is £20,000 - £25,000
