Our client, an international medical communications agency, is seeking and Account Director to lead an account team from their offices in Cheshire, Oxford, Brighton or London. As well as developing existing accounts to their full potential through relationship building with clients and supporting delivery, you will also be responsible for building a strong and passionate team to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

The company has a broad client list and consequently has a diversity of global, international and domestic accounts and work across the full range of medical communications materials.

Create effective partnerships with clients and develop and manage the account plan
Lead and motivate the team, instilling project ownership to ensure smooth running of accounts
Review key deliverables for strategic alignment with client expectations and product strategy
Arrange regular review meetings with client to review status and prospectively plan future work
Advise on budget priorities and budget spend, and remain informed regarding account status
Regularly review team performance and provide feedback and recommendations to enable them to reach their full potential

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Life science degree
Prior experience of running pharmaceutical marketing accounts gained in a medical communications agency
Experience of running an account team
Excellent commercial awareness and customer focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good organisation and planning abilities
Ability to lead and work as part of a team
