Are you a newly qualified teacher seeking your first appointment or an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking to appoint two inspirational and talented teachers who want to make a difference to the educational experiences of the pupils in The Preston and Wingham Primary Schools Federation. This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking and innovative federation that puts children at the heart of all it does. The successful candidates will have an unwavering belief in the potential of every child. It is essential that you will be passionate about the ethos of the federation and skilled at forming supportive relationships with all stakeholders. There is currently one vacancy at each school. Contracts will initially be fixed-term for one year but there is a strong possibility that they will be made permanent.

If you have the experience and skills required we would love to hear from you. Applications must be made using the KCC application form. If you would like further information please contact the Executive Headteacher via email.

The Preston and Wingham Primary Schools Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check).

Information about the school

Preston and Wingham Primary Schools have been federated since September 2013. They are led by one Executive Headteacher and one Governing Body. Both schools are popular, successful, semi-rural schools. Wingham is a one form entry primary school. Preston Primary has a PAN of 20 with children taught in five classes. Whilst we are proud of the academic successes of our children, we are committed to providing the widest range of opportunities for all our pupils in order that they can develop holistically. This is achieved through our creative approach to the curriculum and assessment.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
