Internal Communications Officer
Do you have a talent for creative writing? Are you passionate about digital channels?
We're looking for a confident and talented Internal Communications Officer to help manage our day-to-day internal communications channels, coming up with creative campaigns and digital content to ensure that our staff and volunteers are kept informed, engaged and inspired around the work we do at the BHF.
About the role
You'll be our expert on communicating with our staff; a trusted advisor to colleagues across the BHF and a creator of knockout content. You'll get behind our ambition to be a sector leading Internal Communications team and take real pride in your work. Ultimately, you'll be working to improve the engagement of staff and volunteers within the BHF, helping to raise funds to power our life saving research.
You'll help to build employee engagement through developing powerful storytelling within the BHF, through developing channels that inspire and engage our teams so that they are clear about our organisational objectives and are ready to deliver against them.
Joining a collaborative, supportive and focused Internal Communications team, you'll have a real passion for engagement and internal communication. With previous experience of managing and delivering internal communications within organisations with a geographically dispersed workforce, you'll have demonstrable experience of managing projects with a diverse range of stakeholders over numerous sites.
With an understanding of (and interest in) digital channels, you'll be able to create engaging content across a range of media. An excellent communicator both in writing and verbally, you'll be adept at using these creatively throughout your work. You'll also need an exceptional eye for detail to proofread campaigns and editorial work.
