Summary of the position
Responsible for Electrical works on site including owner of Elec rules and permits.
Time served electrician with 10 years+ experience
Willingness to work as a team and integrate with other trades
Familiarity with electronic systems and quality systems
Preferred GMP experience with involvement in QMS, SOP’s and training compliance.
Work closely with vendors carrying out maintenance tasks, installs and upgrades.
Working with Eng. planner to schedule Elec and planned works
Ownership of shutdown Elec works via planner.
Oversight and review of Elec works during projects including PTW, RAM’s and other controls.
Work on call for 24/7 for week long periods. Responses to site within 1 hour.
Involvement with sustainability team
Be responsible for Condition based monitoring vendor including reporting and scheduling work.
Responsible for competency files for Elec works and isolations.
Management of HV contracts
Management of periodic testing for both sites.

Attend morning planning meeting
Complete assigned tasks from Eng. planning meeting
Oversee and issue any PTW for Elec works as well as issuing of TSA’s and PTW for other works.
Completion of planned work on time to a high standard
Completion of QMS on time to a high standard
Close out of H+S corrective actions
Oversight and management of onsite Elec contractor and degree apprentice.
Ownership and delivery of dept and personal goals

Other information about the role
Reporting to the Associate Director Eng.
Working day to day with Engineering planner demonstrating close out of all works and schedules.
Oversee and support 2 Electricians with good experience of site.
Customers: Validation/Production/QC/Analytical sciences/Process development/office team/finance/ QA.
