Our client currently has a vacancy at their Kings Lynn site for a Maintenance Planner, on a 6 Month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be mechanically biased or have a good mechanical appreciation.

Mechanical Maintenance Planner
Planning Maintenance and site outages.
Experience of SAP preferred

Knowledge of Utilities, Legionella, Boilers, modifications etc.

Duties Include:
Plan maintenance activity taking into account capacity, planning, legal, statutory resource and cost constraints.
Schedule of internal and external resources to maximise value and opportunity.
Use of the CMMS to produce PM plans and work orders.
Preparation of maintenance KPIs
Management of spare parts system

The Ideal Candidate:
Detailed understanding and knowledge of relevant UK safety legislation (e.g. Legionella)
Relationship with management and engineers
Sound literacy and PC suite skills (MS Office)
Functional expert on the CMMS platform
Application of diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Experience/Education
Engineering work planning ideally in an FMCG environment
In depth knowledge of sites CMMS system
Some formal exposure to problem solving skills
Understanding of PM development
Relevant level of experience

Strong collaboration skills interfacing various functions
Determination to reduce losses
Excellent communication skills to all relevant stake holders via verbal, email and plans to ensure delivery of the maintenance activity
Continuous improvement and optimisation of the maintenance schedule to achieve the plan with the least disruption to production
