Supply Chain Finance Manager
The role The perfect step into management for a distribution centre experienced Financial Analyst, this is your chance to deliver five-year planning that will truly transform our Supply Chain operations. Risk assessment will be at the heart of the role, so there’s real accountability here, which will of course be very exciting to you. This is your chance to fully engage leadership teams in developing the plans, budgets and forecasts that will ensure effective improvements across our Distribution Centres - which will be growing from two to three by the end of the year. You’ll provide feedback on – and challenge – performance of the department, not to mention delivering ad hoc analysis and acting as the lead in post-investment appraisal reviews to ensure robust governance. A bit about you Probably a fully qualified accountant, you’ll have proven depth of understanding of the Supply Chain function, you’ll have significant risk assessment experience and a background in working closely with leadership teams to develop financial plans and forecasts. You’ll be the kind of person who looks at a budget against cost estimates and knows instinctively the value of moving forward with a project. We’re looking for someone with real gravitas who can challenge when necessary and hold the group to account for its decisions. Experience and leadership style are all-important here, so even if you haven’t quite completed your qualifications, we still want to hear from you, as it’s the quality of your managerial approach that what will set you apart.
