Project Management/Commercial Trainee in Southampton. In this role, you will be required to occasionally travel to our global sites.
Your New Role
With supervision, the successful Graduate Trainee will contribute to the delivery of a variety of complex tasks related to the Project Management/Project Surveyors of marine and interior outfit projects from project set up, through to on-site and then project close down.
You will be working on projects from initial enquiry, onsite survey, quotation development, review process, through to the project handover procedure. You will collaborate across different functions in a matrix organisation to ensure allocated tasks contribute to the overall project delivery requirements.
Our Ideal Candidate
If you have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mathematics, engineering, marine, design construction, project management, etc.) or equivalent combination of education, training and experience, you could become our next Graduate Trainee. As our ideal candidate, you will have the following skills:
- Good planning, time management and prioritisation skills.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to influence others in a variety of situations.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Results and detail-orientated approach to work delivery and output.
- Demonstrable experience in using IT systems including Microsoft Excel.
