Supported Living Manager
Job DescriptionThere is an incredible opportunity for you to join a lovely team of staff in our Bridport home in a service manager role. You`ll be directly responsible for managing this Learning Disabilities Supported Living service ensuring the smooth and safe running of the service, as well as making sure that the residents are given the best level of care possible. The home is exactly that, a home; it`s a service that`s dedicated to making life as comfortable and enriching as possible. We have 4 flats on site, our residents have their own space, we're looking for you to assist them in being champions of indpendence! You`ll be responsible for caring for our residents daily, we want our service users to grow and develop their sense of confidence, worth and self-esteem; you`ll be a good listener and up for a laugh. A good sense of humour is vital! As well as developing the residents, you`ll also be responsible for looking after staff, their development and engagement is key to creating an amazing atmosphere for everyone. You`ll be motivated, good at communicating and determined to set a great example, the best leaders always do! Of course, you know how to write care plans, rotas and are familiar with regulatory and compliance standards. You have the opportunity to build on an already great service and with your superb problem-solving skills and initiative , things can only get better! You don`t have to have been a registered manager before but you will need to have had experience in a managerial/supervisory role before and have a level 5 qualification, knowledge of CQC expectations is greatly appreciated. If you have significant experience managing but haven`t finished your level 5 yet we`d still love to have a chat with you!
