A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join a data-driven leading software start-up. This innovative company focuses providing leading data driven consultancy services. The successful Business and Systems Analyst will be a confident business analyst working in a technical/software remit.
The Business Analyst will have previously been focussed on data-driven role working with large amounts of technical data. As the Business Analyst you will be confident with UI and Front End and be able to explain how a user would interact with their products.
Role Description and Responsibilities:
In this position you will need to establish effective relationships with stakeholders and assist with new and existing projects. Their clients include some of the largest and most well-known UK organisations. This will be a client facing position so you will need to have exposure to UK working Culture and should be able to engage with the end customer on the business and testing requirements, although this is not the main aspect of the role.
Projects will be a combination of Waterfall and Agile. Hence a detailed understanding of waterfall methodology and Agile methodology is essential for the role.
Should be a good Team Player with excellent written and verbal communication
Should be writing As-Is and To-Be sections of the Functional requirements Documents
Demonstrating the Knowledge of UI and Front End, creating mock-ups for any in-house products
Good understanding of SQL, Data Analytics,Big Data Methodologies
As an Analyst, The Role demands understanding of Testing Life Cycle of the project
Previous experience as a Business Analyst
Confident working with big data and Data modelling methods
Understanding of Java , SQL and Visualisation Tools such as Tableau.
People with BCS/ISEB Certification in Business Analysis or ISTQB testing professionals will be preferred
The Role will involve frequent travel with the senior Resources all over UK and would require employee to work occasionally in Client location as the project requires.
