Position: Deputy Manager
Location: The Regent, Penrith (commutable from Carlisle, Greystoke, Edenhall and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, working on a rota basis, flexibility is needed to meet the needs of the business.
Salary: £23,503 per annum

About the role:

You'll be managing the day to day operations of the service in guidance from the Area Service Manager. You will be responsible and accountable for compliance, monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical & personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the customers.

About you:

- A level of professional development & registration as indicated by purchaser, regulator or Leonard Cheshire (this may include level 5 leadership in health and social care qualification), dependant on location.
- To have experience of providing direct personal and social care.
- To have experience of managing a team of support staff.
- To have experience of working with customers who have physical and / or learning disabilities.
- To be able to work flexibly in accordance with rostered hours.
- To demonstrate a commitment to Leonard Cheshire’s ethos and values.
