NXTGEN are working with a highly respected and successful, family run business based North of Norwich to recruit a Payroll Assistant. This fantastic opportunity will see the post holder work as part of an expanding and fast paced finance function to deliver the monthly payroll alongside the Payroll Manager. Given the role works closely with the Payroll Manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills whilst working as part of a fantastic finance team.

Key aspects of the role will include:

- Process of monthly payroll across the business

- Support the processing of all new starters and leavers

- Support with the production of all payroll data for submission

- Calculate absence and statutory payments as required

- Support production of Payslips and P11d's

Candidates will ideally have gained experience processing Payroll in a previous position although end to end payroll experience is not essential. Good Excel skills are highly desirable and candidates will need to demonstrate excellent administration skills to deal with a large payroll. Good communication skills will also be essential given the need to deal with payroll queries
