Accounts Clerk

Are you a financial professional or administrator looking to gain experience in a fun and friendly environment? If so, you may be interested in this opportunity we have recently registered as an Accounts Clerk, for a company based in Henley on Thames. As the Accounts clerk for this organisation you will work alongside the Assistant Accountants and Financial Controller to ensure the finance function runs smoothly. The Accounts clerk will be responsible for monitoring credit card charges, dealing with queries, balancing accounts and maintaining the financial filing systems.

Accounts Clerk Responsibilities

As the Accounts Clerk some of your duties will include:

Balancing Counts receivable and payable
Monitoring credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds and returns
Compiling financial data for Direct debit collection
Assisting the Assistant Accountants
Dealing with financial queries
Maintaining finance records
Providing financial information for auditors
Creating financial reports

Accounts Clerk Experience

The Accounts Clerk will likely have experience in an accounts role in order to manage the variety of duties. As the Accounts Clerk you will be have a keen attention to detail and have good time management skills in order to manage the variety of duties. It is essential you will be a good verbal and written communicator. Previous experience working in hospitality is desirable but not essential.
