Primary Teacher – Oldham

Key Stage 2 Primary Class Teacher

Prospero teaching is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Year 3 teacher to start a long term, full-time contract. This will be in a large primary school in Oldham (OL12), Greater Manchester.

This school requires a KS2 specialist who has the ability to prepare, plan and provide engaging and fun lessons. OFSTED stated in their 2019 report that for the next step in progress, ‘pupils, especially the most able, are given work that challenges their learning in different subjects’. The head teacher has stressed that the ideal candidate is able to emphasis pupil attainment in Phonics and overall improvement and progression across the core subjects and school environment.

We are particularly interested in someone who:

•Experience in KS2 desired. (Or similar age groups)

•Committed, highly driven, and hard working in all aspects of the job.

•Not restricted to working with children with barriers to learning.

•Ability to work individually to a high standard but also contribute constructive ideas in a team setting.

•NQTs are welcome to apply.

The school are looking to appoint after Easter holidays with lesson observations to take place in the first week after half term. The post will initially run on a long term fixed term basis with a view to permanent appointment in September 2019.

Prospero teaching requirements:

•You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualifications
