Collections Team Leader
Collections Team Leader 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday £25,000 per annum, Subsidised Canteen, Parking Onsite Morley, Leeds Would you want to progress into a leadership role within collections? About the role: This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK's largest 'Procure to Pay' teams. This role will be a clear number 2 to the Team Leader so would suit someone with prior experience in a Credit Control role (or similar) who is looking to take their next step and develop their leadership skills. Responsibilities /duties: Debt Collection - Responsible for leading a team of 5 to ensure the timely collection of cash from suppliers. You'll be working with internal customers and suppliers to ensure this process works smoothly Manage the process of dealing with all Supplier Queries relating to Sales Ledger invoices Work with our trading, marketing and other head office functions to ensure all income and billing for promotional activity is raised accurately and on time Review payments before they are made to suppliers for risk and take action to protect the clients position Take ownership of performance reporting to the business and within team Creating relationships with key stakeholders involved in the teams' work to improve the customer experience and ensure processes are understood Leading by example and driving a culture of process improvements and innovation within the team What you will need: Have strong finance operations experience - does not necessarily need to be in AR Leadership skills are key to this role so experience of managing a team and/or other business stakeholders is essential Strong excel and analytical skills Enthusiasm, commitment and drive to succeed Confident communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels Good attention to detail and getting things right first time Resilient and tenacious with a can do attitude Flexible approach A desire to challenge process and identify control and operational improvements In order to succeed you must have prior experience within a similar role, as this is a temporary job you will need to be available and required to register and interview at short notice.
