The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving marketing relationships with supplier brands to achieve joint business goals. This role is pivotal for building and maintaining relationships and opportunities between the organisation and supplier brands.

Our client is a leading Outdoors Sports Retailer.


The Trade Marketing Manager will:

* Work closely with B&M team to understand buying strategy and represent the Marketing team with the voice of the customer.
* Develop the overarching Marketing Strategy & Plans for the organisation as they relate to supplier brand activation in line with marketing objectives.
* Identify opportunities where supplier brands can make additional investment
* Build seasonal and annual joint marketing plans with each supplier brand
* Deliver joint marketing plans by aligning with content, social, ecommerce and creative teams.
* Report marketing activity to each supplier brand on a regular basis including measurable ROI where possible
* Negotiate and report marketing investment above and beyond basic contractual Marketing Contribution
* Be office-based in Kemble, Gloucestershire


The Trade Marketing Manager will:

* Have a track record in Trade Marketing
* Have demonstrable track record of developing and delivering strategy
* Have strong Stakeholder Marketing skills
* Have worked in a Consumer Goods environment
* Have a strong commercial acumen
* Have a track record in delivering reports and accurate forecasting
* Be willing to travel as necessary
