We are looking for a dedicated and motivating Student Support Worker to provide support to children with physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties in a residential and educational setting. Your responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring effective communication with and between staff and students
-Delivering particular strategies and programmes for students
-Taking a lead in regards to general support duties including providing physical management and personal care
-Providing a safe and positive classroom environment
-Supporting students in their education plans and to overcome barriers to learning

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
-Excellent communication skills
-An aspiration to enable students to learn and achieve meaningful independence
-Own means of transport is essential
-At least two professional references
-A passion for and an interest in SEN and physical disabilities
