Job Purpose Summary:

The focus of the role is to act as the central person to interface between Marlowe Fire and Security, companies within the Group, Specialist Suppliers and Contractors where we are unable to deliver products and services from our own resources. To ensure work is outsourced on a profitable basis and provides an effective and professional service to our customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

* To interface between Marlowe Fire and Security (MFS), other Companies within the Group and Specialist Contractors for the delivery of products and services.

* Maintain awareness of products and services provided by other Group Companies.

* Develop a database of approved specialist suppliers detailing all services provided.

* Identify suitable suppliers for specialist contractors for work originated within the Service Department in MFS and negotiate suitable rates to maintain outsource profitability.

* Identify poor performance from Specialist Contractors and replace with alternatives.

* Assign work instructions and raise purchase orders for work which cannot be fulfilled using in-house resources.

* Ensure work is carried out in a timely manner and the supplier maintains the highest levels of customer service.

* Facilitate delivery of materials to suppliers where not provided by them

* Follow up on work instructions to ensure delivery of contracted works within agreed timescales.

* Ensure all paperwork and certification is provided by the supplier and process for onward dispatch to the customer.

* Process invoices from suppliers in a timely manner and ensure accuracy against Purchase Orders.

* Receive work instructions from other Group Companies and process into MFS Service Department.

* Assist Fire Safety Department and Fire Extinguisher and Mechanical Products with Admin coverage where required.

* Assisting the Service Director and other Board members with ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Key Performance Indicators:

* Preventative Maintenance Work achieves 90% within scheduled month and 100% by month after.

* Minor Works are completed within 30 days of orders received.

* Further Actions are scheduled within 10 working days of original attendance.

* Supplier orders are placed within 3 weeks of work generated.

* 90% of Customer appointments are achieved on scheduled dates.

* Revenue from Outsourced Services achieves agreed targets as set by line manager.

* Profitability from Outsourced Services achieves agreed targets as set by line manager

Person Specification:

* Procurement Orientation.

* Self-motivated with strong commercial focus.

* Technical knowledge of Electronic and Mechanical Fire Safety and Security products.

* Energetic, Enthusiastic, Confident, Adaptable and Flexible.

* Good Net worker. Good Communication and IT skills. Attention to detail
