Our client are experts in the design, development and manufacture of components within the automotive sector with over 250,000 staff globally. Due to expansion, a Maintenance Engineer is now immediately required to join their experienced team. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for planned, preventative and reactive maintenance incorporating fault finding and diagnostic repair of all machinery and equipment on site.


Process technical expert, frontline support to the working group for all process issues
Deliver projects and process improvements from concept through to completion
Support the hourly needs of the operation by monitoring and responding to process output signals
Monitor daily reject returns, gather data and implement robust fixes
Be responsible for ensuring that all equipment used in manufacturing or assembly processes is functioning and in specification
Be responsible for ensuring that all gauging equipment used in manufacturing or assembly processes is functioning, working within specification and calibrated
Maintain process to ensure adherence to accepted quality standards and to the sites quality system requirements
To provide structured problem solving activity and liaise with internal and/or external individuals on problem resolution
Carry out FMEA process documentation and implement improvements

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have hands on experience of CNC machining processes in a manufacturing environment including grinding, turning, milling etc. Ideally (Mechanical) Engineering Degree, 'time served' or relevant industry experience in a broad spectrum of activities.

Working hours are:

Mon: 07:30 – 16:00

Tues-Thurs: 07:30 – 15:30

Fri: 07:30 – 14:30

Some degree of flexibility would also be expected with these working hours.
