Operating nationally, each year we manage the training for more than 4000 people, managing the national Apprenticeship Programmes for Ford, McLaren, DAF Trucks as well as a number of other programmes for large business and across independent motor businesses.

As part of an internal restructuring programme, we are now looking for an experienced Contracts & Compliance Officer to join the training delivery team! Overall Job Purpose

* To support the Head of Delivery and Regional Skills Managers in agreeing annual contracts and monitoring & managing agreed service level with all sub-contractors

* To generate, collate data and provide accurate MI on key sub-contractor performance, utilisation rates and capacity and provide regular performance & progress reports to the Head of Delivery and the wider Skillnet Senior Management Team

* To collect & collate accurate, informed profiling for the progress and achievement of learners.

* To collate and control Master national teaching schedule for learners across all sub-contractors

* To provide guidance and support to Regional Skills Managers and partner colleges as required.

* Represent Skillnet at meetings.

* Deputise for the Head of Delivery

* Liaison with Awarding Bodies, SSC, ESFA, and other interested stakeholders as and when necessary for Compliance with the requirements of the relevant Ofsted Framework

Person Specification

* Highly process and data driven the post-holder will need to combine a strong eye for detail with the ability to see the bigger picture of how Skillnet aims to work with our college partners.

* Strong business and commercial acumen, capable of understanding & managing complex relationships with sub-contractors.

* Strong yet affable personality and a capable people person, able to achieve results through others who may not be direct line reports

* Excellent data collation and interpretation with the ability to analyse and provide effective and meaningful Management Information necessary to help drive the strategic agenda and decision making

* Highly adept Microsoft office user with particular expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
