An exciting opportunity has arisen due to the growth of a care company based on the Ridge in Hastings for an apprenticeship in the training department. They are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable candidate to take on a one year apprenticeship with a strong possibility of a permanent position on completion.

You will be working alongside two experienced Trainers, learning how to become a staff trainer, administrative skills and customer services, while gaining a qualification and getting paid £150pw.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (35 hrs pw)

Responsibilities:
- Assisting two fully qualified trainers and learning their skills in First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, Medication, Challenging Behaviour, Dementia and much more
- Answering the telephone, logging information.
- Preparing training material
- Making telephone calls to new and existing clients including promoting their outside courses.
- Checking emails and acting on them
- Assisting the Directors and office staff with administrative tasks when requested.
- Filing and typing.
- Learning how to use their bespoke computer system
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by senior staff
