You and your role Infrastructure Operations Engineers are responsible for the operations of secure and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. In this role you will, install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve DWP's operating environment. You will also maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure. As a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer you will build, administer, support and maintain IT solutions. You will manage operational support of IT solutions and services including the workload, performance and development of a team. You will also support third party provision of IT Operations services and provide expertise to programmes and projects, as well as the development of architectural solutions for technology. What are we looking for? You have experience of interacting with code and carrying out baseline repair activities. You have managed Infrastructure technology across a multi-supplier landscape. You have experience of independently supporting and maintaining products. You should be service-focused, with experience of incident Management and IT infrastructure Where You'll Work You'll join us in one of our easy-to-reach digital hubs in either Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle.
