On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Service Officer - Business Planning Forecasting for a 8 Month contract based in Derby

The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a number of Service Officers to join our team in Derby.

Whether for the purposes of operational planning or modelling these events financially, our capability in this space has very significant impact on our business and our customers. Through the Customer and Services System and our ongoing finance transformation we enable our teams to deliver exceptional levels of service and financial business performance.

This role relies on the individual’s powers of persuasion, charisma, negotiation, interpersonal skills, coaching and networking ability to enable rapid adoption.

Job Responsibilities:-

* Working closely with the change management team to define and deploy capability and on-board the fleet to the new toolset.

* Providing daily support and subject matter expertise to line teams and users to enable the smooth adoption of our new toolset.

* Working closely with the Subject Matter Experts and design team to ensure problems, opportunities and requirements are fed into the on-going IT development programme.

The Candidate:

In order to be successful in this role you will possess all or some of the below criteria:

Qualifications and Skills:-

* Aviation service experience is preferential.

* Experience of Service Engineering support, especially related to root cause analysis and life management.

* Knowledge of Fleet Planning is beneficial

* Awareness of Overhaul activates and Business finance would be beneficial.

* Advanced level use of Excel is essential.

* Won’t be required to present any data.
