A&F Chambers are recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our client in Maldon.
Reporting into the Finance Director, this role is mainly purchase ledger based with some accounts administration / bookkeeping entailed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Posting invoices
- Issuing invoices to departmental head for authorising
- Deal with any accounting queries as and when required
- Making payment runs
- Purchase Ledger
- Applying for new trade accounts
- Preparing various management reports
- Assist with bank receipt postings
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
- Previous experience in a similar role
- IT Literate, with experience using Sage & Excel
- Must be a driver due to location
- Confident telephone manner
- Good communications skills, both written and verbal
- Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5:30PM
- Salary up to £23,000 p.a.
- Full time, permanent role
