Senior Marketing Manager
Up to £50,000 per annum

Our client is an Australian owned public listed company. they are an industry leader in providing managed campus services, pre-university and university pathway programmes for domestic (Australia only) and international students. They conduct a wide range of activities in Asia, North America, Africa, Australia, Continental Europe and the United Kingdom. Their Colleges are modern and dynamic educational institutions committed to providing quality educational programmes and excellent student support in an environment that encourages students to achieve the best possible results in their studies. The UK Colleges offer a range of Degree Programme Elements from undergraduate Level 0 (Foundation) to Level 1, 1st Year university studies and postgraduate Masters Preliminary programmes in a wide range of degree pathways. The Colleges are all based on the campus of their Partner University and as such are Associate or Affiliate Colleges of their Partner University. Their students benefit from the range of facilities open to all University students.

The Senior Marketing Manager Role
Reporting to the General Manager Sales and Marketing, the Senior Marketing Manager leads the marketing activities to drive international student recruitment in line with the targets included in the business model. The Senior International Recruitment Manager works closely with the University Partners International Office to develop global recruitment initiatives, with a focus on developing and conveying the institutional value propositions to market. As part of the wider Navitas Europe team, the Senior International Recruitment Manager is required to collaborate with colleagues across the division and their overseas Source Country Office (SCO) network to meet sales targets and increase conversion rates.

Technical Role Requirements

  • Proven international recruitment expertise
  • Ability to create and articulate value propositions in a clear and compelling way across a wide range of international audiences
  • Proven track record of leading marketing campaigns to deliver business growth
  • Proven ability to monitor and evaluate the impact of marketing and recruitment activities and report appropriately
  • Experience of working with global recruitment agents to drive business growth
  • Experience of leading and managing teams to success
  • Knowledge of Home Office/UKVI compliance
  • Experience of managing budgets and demonstrating return on investment
  • Experience working with matrix stakeholders
  • Experience with managing diverse stakeholder groups
  • Familiarity with the Higher Education sector, internationally or within the UK

Non-Technical Role Requirements

  • Ability to use data and market analysis to drive business decision making
  • Ability to deliver key messages through multi-media channels
  • Ability to respond quickly to market trends to deliver commercial outcomes
  • Knowledge of the UK higher education sector and value proposition
  • Knowledge of UK admissions, visa and compliance regulations
  • High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability as an authentic team player
  • A passion for customer service
  • Flexible attitude to work including a willingness to work weekends and evenings in support of recruitment activities both locally and internationally
  • Ability to demonstrate innovative thinking and drive new initiatives
  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity and awareness
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
