Purpose of the Role
•A member of the Sales Team based in the branch network, identifying and satisfying customer needs through the financial planning process that will lead to advice being presented. Providing restricted advice in line with the compliance standards and regulation.
•To achieve and maintain relevant standards in regulated advice and adherence to relevant regulations & monitor progress of all regulated business submitted.
•To achieve and maintain competent adviser status.
•To achieve business sales as agreed with the Head of Branches. Including transactional, protection and on-going advice KPI's.
•Conduct an in-depth review of customer's financial circumstances, current provision and future aims.
•Assisting customers to make informed decisions.
•Keeping up to date with financial products and legislation
•Ensure all activities are done in a timely manner - including the input of client details, research, putting together the advice, along with the presentation of the advice and any subsequent applications. To ensure that these activities are conducted in a manner that will meet The Hanley's internal monitoring standards.
•Maintain an effective client management system to carry out regulated interviews and maximise business opportunities and to provide excellence in customer service.
•To develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal colleagues - providing updated product information, maximising referral opportunities and establishing opportunities.
•To undertake CPD, including Market Awareness and technical knowledge, to meet the regulatory requirements and to ensure the highest professional standards in the regulated market.
•At all times ensure familiarity with both the Society's product range and life offices products & criteria - liaising with product providers to assist in the correct placement of enquiries.
•To adopt a flexible approach towards daily working hours to meet demands as they arise.
•Any other duties that may from time to time be allocated by the HEBS supervisor and that are commensurate with the grading of the post including one off projects as they arise.
Person Specification
• Industry Recognised Qualification as per FCA - at a minimum of Level 4
•Advanced Financial Advice Qualification - Adv Dip FA
Skills & Experience•Full Competent Adviser Status (Unless Trainee PFA)
•Proven successful sales history
