About the Role Here at the CIOB, we are now looking for a Digital Content Executive to report to the Digital Manager and support the addition, update and review of content across all CIOB websites. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that content is effectively delivered and optimally presented on the CIOB domains. Another key element of this role is to take ownership of the website content; championing the effective usage of our CMS systems and ensuring that content is optimally presented in a digital environment. You will understand the use of SEO within content management and employ best practices throughout websites. What we’re looking for… If you have demonstrable experience working with web technologies and writing web content, then we want to hear from you! We’re looking for a highly organised and meticulous individual who has a strong background in writing web content and using HTML. You’ll have experience of editing digital content and good knowledge of typography and user experience principles. You’ll need to have excellent computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office and knowledge of CMS systems. A high standard of internal and external customer service is essential, and you will also have the maturity of approach and responsibility to manage these relationships effectively. The ability to work under own initiative, delivering feedback to internal customers and suggesting improvements is a must, as is the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to internal client specifications. A good working knowledge of front-end web development would be beneficial, as would experience of Drupal, Wordpress and any other CMS. What you might be asking is – why work for us?
