Job Title: WMS Systems Administrator Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Salary: £30,000 plus bonus OTE £31,200, excellent corporate package and company car Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday WMS Systems Administrator The Candidate You will have the following skills, experiences and attributes... •Experience in administering a WMS such as SAP, Red Prairie, Dynamics etc. •Ideally you will have worked as a Super User on a WMS •Ideally you will speak French but this is by no means essential •Ability to obtain results by acting with an aim and within the established deadlines, and to find the means to avoid difficulties while following the usual processes and methods •Knowledge of the regular receipts and dispatch flows for each WHS site / client and regularly make proposals to optimise these flows WMS Systems Administrator The Role You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the relationship between the WMS users and the IT support. Duties will include... •To ensure all parameters of the WMS are optimized for user support and usage. •To manage, follow up and control the information related to the warehouse support and services. •Validate the local installation of all IT systems and coordinate any follow up actions necessary after those installations. •Handle and manage any issues and incidents related to the site IT WMS. •Knowledge of the regular receipts and dispatch flows for each site. •Liaise with client and regularly make proposals to optimise these flows. •Expertise and support in profitability tools (RENTA) •Ensure the parameters and data of the IT WMS are constantly updated and in synch with the commercial agreement. •Follow up and control the operation and activities related to his/her field of expertise. •Assist and advise users, internal and external clients in his/her field of expertise. Identify the type, means and tools of assistance necessary to support users. •Perform the upgrading and maintenance operations •Perform checks, audits and verification activities •Identify discrepancies between forecasts and actual data. •Distribute and communicate information about the warehouse management system to all users and key stakeholders. •Provide data and follow up tools used for KPIs, forecast of activities. •Manages and optimizes the flow of information. •Acts as an internal and external client central point of contact for his/her field of expertise. •Identify the maintenance operation that can be done directly by users and those that need to be escalated. •Design and deploy documentation to support IT processes (training manuals, operating documents, etc.) •Creates operating reports and shares information with key stakeholders as required. •Update documentation in line with the evolution of the IT systems, the operational processes, and the client’s requirements.
