We are currently investing £15million in the Majestic Hotel at Harrogate. This tremendous investment will transform our hotel, product and service offering to all our guests, providing them with a totally new experience as we look to rebrand the hotel to Double Tree by Hilton brand.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at The Majestic as we make these changes which include, 184 refurbished bedrooms featuring 11 new Junior Suites, Champagne Bar and Grill, Piano Bar and Terrace, private Dining Room, 14 state of the art Conference and Events Suites, a new Relaxation & Beauty Spa, and a fully equipped gym and heat experience on poolside.

This is truly a great opportunity for a forward thinking proactive individual. The successful candidate will assist in maximising all areas of profitability, through revenue generation and productivity ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction in the hotel.

About the Role …

You’ll develop and set sales and marketing strategies for the hotel with the support of the General Manager to ensure tactical plans are created and implemented, results are monitored, and sales & marketing goals achieved.

About the You…


Possess excellent communication and motivation skills, you’ll need to be a good co-operator and persuader, with a professional, warm, trusting and friendly approach
Well informed about the market, and therefore have the ability to accurately forecast sales predictions and shifts in the marketplace, both on a national scale and also for the individual region
A drive for sales generation, networking, building reputations and identifying new opportunities within social and Hilton corporate accommodation business
Ability to build and maintain long lasting relationships with existing and new clients
A proven track record of success within this or a similar position with an innovative approach and the ability to react to change
Strong creative outlook with a confident and dynamic personality. Strong analytical and project management skills with experience of marketing strategy, media channels, and creative writing
Set and own sales & marketing budgets including planning the necessary conversion to a DoubleTree by Hilton brand
Focus on our key segments of business including MICE (14 M&E spaces from 1-5pax), business group and Leisure alongside driving our Spa & wedding packages
