A large tooling manufacturer are looking for a Service Manager to be responsible for supporting customers through UK and aboard. Offering technical support and general maintenance on current products. You'll have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience working within a service management role.

Commutable from: Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Crawley, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sussex

Salary: Negotiable + Bonus, Bupa Healthcare, Pension & 28 Days holidays.

Suitable for: Service Manager, Technical Service Manager, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Senior Service Engineer, Service Team Leader.

The Role

- Reporting into the General Manager, you'll be responsible dealing with both UK and Export customers on technical enquires and dealing with reported faults.
- As the Service Manager you will support the Field Service Engineers and internal colleagues with technical support.
- Maintaining effective communication with the internal service administration team, to ensure that service visits are performed in a timely manner. Also considering the Field Service Engineers, customers and commercial implications.
- Attend regular supplier training courses to maintain high level of knowledge of group products.

The Person

Apprentice trained within mechanical engineering with experience working within a service management role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, with experience within the measurement and inspection industries.
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to plan days and work under pressure.
Confident with using Microsoft Office.
Full UK Driving License
