Join Royal Voluntary Service's in-house team as a Team Leader/Manager.

This is perfect for someone who wants that next step in their career to grow and lead a team of Fundraisers.

They are looking for x2 TLs. One for the street campaign and one for the venue campaign. TL for street doesn't need to drive.

Job role:

Team Leader - with further management opportunities down the line.

Accountable to: Regional Fundraising Manager

The offer:

* Working with Royal Voluntary Service's in-house team.

* Pay a basic salary of £12-13 depending on experience with a travel allowance.

* Performance related pay increases up to £15 an hour.

* Travel allowance - 25p per mile and an extra hour paid per day travel time.

* 41 hours per week average (can vary depending on fundraising location).

* *Start Date: ASAP

* Up to 25 days annual leave, paid on an accrual basis.

Main responsibilities:

* You will supervise a team of 4 Fundraisers to work to KPI’s to raise money for their vital services through regular monthly donations.

* The team will be new and will require your knowledge of private sites fundraising or front line sales to be able to grow the team.

* You will have daily support to do your role from a line manager and from senior fundraiser.

* You will manage the rota for the team and send the timesheets to the payroll team.

* You will lead from the front and fundraise with your team daily.

We’re looking for the following:

* Experience of team leading (Essential) within a private sites environment (Desirable)

* Understanding and appreciation of the fundraising environment and the value of regular giving and long term donors

* Experience of training and motivating a team of fundraisers

* A basic understanding of RVS and what it does as a charitable organisation

* Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to inspire their team and potential donors.

* Experience of working to targets and/or managing a campaign with targets, with a 'can-do' attitude and a desire to succeed.

* You would be expected to still hit your own daily fundraising targets, setting a great example with your results and ethical approach.

* A driving license is essential.
