Are you an accomplished Plant Maintenance or Workshop Fitter with a diesel engine mechanic qualification? You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all types of machinery from 1.5t mini diggers to 35t excavators, as well as dumpers, rollers and telehandlers at our client's Cambridgeshire depot. As Workshop Fitter, you will be carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that their plants operate safely and reliably. The maintenance will include PDIs, safety LOLER inspections, servicing and general damage repairs. Our client has one of the largest and youngest fleets available, including over 7,000 assets worth over £150m, with an industry leading team that has received investment of £100m to expand their depots and enhance their fleet. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all types of machinery from 1.5t mini diggers to 35t excavators, as well as dumpers, rollers and telehandlers You need to be self-motivated and be able to turn around machines quickly with accuracy, and you will also be responsible for ensuring the machinery is fit for hire. We are looking for someone who is: •A qualified diesel mechanic •NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance •In possession of a full, valid Driving Licence with no more than 3 points •Able to demonstrate a full and varied knowledge of plant machinery •Able to provide references to supplement your application •Having a CSCS card would be an advantage •Good spoken and written English You will be able to demonstrate the following behaviours: •Resilient in dealing with changes in priorities, juggling a number of activities and continues to be effective •The ability to understand, analyse and articulate issues both simple and complex •The ability to develop and apply appropriate skills •The ability to generate alternative approaches to problems In return they will give you: •An annual salary up to £27,400.00 dependent upon experience •Inclusion in the company bonus scheme •Up to 25 days holiday excluding bank holidays •An additional days leave on your birthday •The experience of working with the A-Team
