We’re looking for a hungry wordsmith who can bring life to GreenJinn’s content. You’ll play a central role in developing the brand voice and messaging, ensuring consistency across all GreenJinn’s touch points, and how we’re perceived.

A bit about GreenJinn

We’re a startup changing the way people shop in store & online with the next generation of mobile couponing. Our free app pays real cashback on healthy, everyday groceries. We have over 250k users who are largely UK millennials, recent graduates and parents. We’re growing daily and getting noticed by some big names!

Launched in October 2016, GreenJinn synergistically serves as a one-to-one marketing tool for brands, who often struggle to reach modern consumers through traditional marketing channels. We aim to provide them with unique insights into shopping patterns and trends, and a platform for detailed targeting of coupons.

The role

You’ll be dynamic and motivated; roll up your sleeves delivering a press release one minute, crafting a punchy mailshot, and writing powerful ad copy the next. You will work within the Growth & Marketing team curating original content ideas and executing on the content calendar.

The scope of content at GreenJinn is vast: advertising campaigns, app/web copy, blogs, socials, videos, case studies, mailshots, press stories, topical white papers, sales and marketing collateral.

The sort of person we’d love to meet

Student or recent graduate, ideally in a language, journalism or creative writing discipline (or other demonstrable relevant experience)
Strong written communication skills
Able to make complex concepts engaging and simple to understand
Comfortable working independently to ambitious deadlines
Broadly understand principles of link building / SEO, creative design, evergreen content, influencer marketing, and manufacturing a social buzz

Nice to have...

Experience using Photoshop or similar tools
Familiarity with Wordpress or similar CMS
Knowing what it means to be data-driven and understanding key content metrics for engagement, shareability, conversions, attribution et. al.
